PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional Strategic Communications (BNSC) deputy director Eric See-To and Lim Guan Eng have settled their mutual defamation suits. The terms of settlement stated that both parties would withdraw their claim and counterclaim. Lim's office later denied making that statement and threatened to sue See-To for defamation. In a follow-up statement, See-To provided a link to the statement on Lim's social media accounts, which he claimed was proof that the statement had indeed been made. See-To then sued Lim for defamation, claiming that Lim had not carried out his threat to sue him.
