Photo:Kibata Kihu/StandardLikii Special School in Nanyuki, which caters for children with mental disorders, received a donation of food and wheelchairs from Mt Kenya Breweries and police officers from Nyeri County. The school received 30 wheelchairs and food worth Sh100,000. This was the first such donation to the school, which houses 108 children with a range of mental challenges such as cerebral palsy and autism. The Mt Kenya Breweries business development director, Caesar Wanjao, said the company would identify other gaps in the community to improve the welfare of residents.
