Ordinary people have power under the law to make a difference. Ordinary citizens have often failed to stick and exhibited sheer ignorance on the very basics of law. Congratulations Mr Omtatah for showing us the way. Okiya Omtatah compelled Supreme Court judges, including the Chief Justice, to disqualify themselves from the case hearing Kalpana Rawal and Philip Tunoi retirement age dispute, citing conflict of interest. In the same vein, a good Constitution is only effective if the citizens are eternally vigilant and exercise their rights.
