Lights out at landmarks for Earth Hour - Nation


PETALING JAYA: It’s lights out for several key landmarks around the country in conjunction with Earth Hour. Despite the darkness, activities were held for the public to take part, including a walk, a run and a yoga session in Penang. KLCC seconds before 8.30pm (top) and when Earth Hour began (below) -Art Chen/The StarThose taking part in the Earth Hour Night Walk in Penang were taken on a 3.6km course around Lebuh Lintang for the event, which was being held for the fifth year. The walk is organised by World Wide Fund for Nature Malaysia in collaboration with the Penang go­­vernment. The Earth Hour Run & Ride for Sight 2018 was also held in Queensbay Mall, which saw close to 800 registered participants.
