The deceased are Dengu Mia, a 50-year-old farmer from Habiganj Sadar upazila, and eight-year-old Salma Akhter from Baniachong upazila. "Three of his sons were also injured in the incident and admitted to Habiganj Sadar Hospital," the chairman added. The other victim, Salma, was injured after being struck by lightning while playing in her courtyard. She was sent in critical condition to Habiganj Sadar Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
