A robot designed by a German engineer has set a new world record for completing a Rubik’s Cube, Guinness World Records has confirmed. Since the attempt, Guinness World Records has been carefully reviewing the evidence, including ensuring that the cube and the pre-scrambling met all World Cube Association standards. Guinness World Records confirmed the new record Friday. Guinness World Records recently recognized a ping-pong playing robot in Japan as the world’s "first robot table tennis tutor."
