Lightning and heavy rain are expected to begin on Monday afternoon as many England fans are expected to wake up with a hangover following an exuberant night watching the Euro 2020 final. Weather experts say large areas of the country will see some heavy rain with torrential downpours likely in some places. Other areas expected to see torrential rain include Kent, Portsmouth, Reading, Slough and West Sussex, and Windsor and Maidenhead. It's website said: "There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings. "There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads.
