With the completion of the this tunnel, the north bound line will be through from Nagasandra station in the north to Yelachenahalli station in the south in the North-South corridor, hopefully by early next year. The Krishna TBM is an Earth Pressure Balance type machine and has done total tunneling of about 1,571 meters in the North-South corridor, the communique added.
