Van Ly salt field is only 1km from a ruined church, a famous tourist site in Nam Dinh. The most famous salt field in Nam Dinh is located in the village of Van Ly of Hai Ly commune, Hai Hau district. You can purchase salt right at the salt field. Salt workers here produce white grains of salt. They have to dig the ditches that leads sea water to the salt field.
