OBITUARY: Christchurch teacher Lynette Sadler will be remembered for her passion for language, musical theatre and helping hundreds of students learn English. She had a quirky sense of humour and spent 15 years teaching in the Solomon Islands, wrote songs to help students learn English, wrote and produced plays and was a tireless worker in the community. Supplied Lyn Sadler returning to Christchurch from the Solomon Islands where she spent 15 years. Sadler wrote and produced eight musical plays for children in the Solomon Islands and Christchurch. Friend and former colleague Margaret Yorke said she had fond memories of visiting the Solomon Islands with Sadler for three weeks in 1984.
