The challenge is to guess the secret five-letter word in six tries, or fewer. To start the game, think of a random five-letter word, type the letters into the first row of tiles, and press enter. I gravitate toward word games, not number puzzles. Wardle, a New York City-based software engineer, developed the game for his partner, who’s a fan of word games.
