REUTERS/Esam Omran Al-Fetori/File PhotoCAIRO - 15 March 2020: A Libyan military commission, comprising five officers from the Libyan National Army (LNA) and five others from the forces of the National Accord kicked off a meeting on Sunday. This two-day meeting will be the third by the committee and is aimed to discuss the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign fighters from the Arab country. The 5+5 committee, formally named the 5+5 Libyan Joint Military Commission, started meeting in Geneva on 3 February in talks facilitated by Salamé. The committee consists of 5 senior military officers chosen by the GNA and 5 senior military officers chosen by Haftar.
