London, 4 January 2021:A Libyan business delegation is expected to visit Cairo in February to discuss strengthening trade and investment cooperation with the Egyptian side in various sectors. Mohamed Raied, a member of the House of Representatives and head of Libya’s General Union of Chambers of Commerce, was quoted by Libyan media as saying that “The Libyan business delegation is unified, and businessmen working in the sectors of building materials, food and other sectors from the west, east and south of the country’’ will be part of the delegation. High-level Egyptian delegation visits TripoliThe announcement comes on the back of the visit of a high-level Egyptian to Tripoli on 27 December where activating signed agreements on economy and security, reopening the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli and finding urgent solutions to resuming flights between the two countries, were discussed.
