At the opening day of the Franco-Libyan Transport Forum being held at MEDEF’s Paris headquarters from 11 to 12 December, Ibrik Abdullah Moussa, Vice Chairman of Libyan Railroads welcomed participants to the event and introduced the Libyan railway project and its role as one of the strategic projects in Libya. These included French companies in engineering consulting, providing advice and technical support, managing strategic projects, as well as training and metro. AlstomRailroads Libya’s delegation then held a discussion session with French company Alstom, which in turn made a presentation to those attending the forum. A lengthy discussion took place about the railway and metro project in Tripoli, Benghazi and Misrata. Libyan Railroads said its delegation was well received and welcomed by the participants in the forum from both the Libyan and French sides with the call for continued Libyan-French communication, work and future cooperation in the various fields of transport.
