Libya draws Jordan in friendly match

Libya's national football team held its Jordanian counterpart to a 1-1 draw in a friendly match played Saturday night at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman. The match came as part of Libya's preparations for the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2018), to be held in Morocco early next January. At the beginning of the second half, Moussa Tamari gave the Jordanian the lead, before the Libyan team scored in the 75th minute through Faisal Al-Badri. The Libyan team performed well during the match and dominated most of the gameplays in the first half yet wasted many opportunities to score and win the match. The Libyan team will play a final friendly game likely to be in Tunisia, before heading to Morocco to participate in the CHAN 2018, which starts on the fourth of January.
