Libya, Oil Ministry Spokesperson Denies President Noc's Resignation

In the last few hours, rumours have been circulating in Libyan circles linked to the oil sector regarding the possible resignation of Farhat Bengdara, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC). On Libyan social media, in particular, there are rumors that Bengdara has submitted a letter of resignation to the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GUN), Abdulhamid Dabaiba, although there is currently no official confirmation from the competent authorities. “Agenzia Nova” contacted the spokesperson of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ahmed Jumaa, who said he was not aware of any resignation letter submitted by Bengdara. Other sources close to the dossier have reported that the resignation was actually presented citing health reasons from which the manager has been suffering for some time. It should be noted that, even in this case, these are for the moment simple rumors that "Agenzia Nova" has limited itself to recording without finding official confirmation.
