EventItalian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni will meet with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, of the Government of National Unity (GNU), in Tripoli Jan. 28. Although details remain unclear, the meetings of the high-level delegation in Tripoli will likely take place at the Prime Minister's office. Increased security is likely in Tripoli, especially near the Prime Minister's office. Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha of the eastern-based Government of National Stability (GNS) has warned against any agreement signed between the GNU and Italy. Demonstrations could occur at the Italian Embassy in Tripoli, the Prime Minister's office, and other government buildings.
