Libya: Internal Security Agency must end abuses in name of ‘guarding virtue’


In earlier videos ISA published in April and May 2023, 10 other people are seen “confessing” to “embracing Christianity” and “insulting Islam”. In some cases, ISA arrested their relatives to compel the “wanted” individuals to hand themselves in. He told Amnesty International that he heard screams of other detainees and saw bloodstains on the floor as he walked from his cell to the bathroom.
