Libya and Chad have formalized this week a Memorandum of understanding to regulate the movement and employment of Chadian workers in Libya. According to the media office of Libya’s Ministry of Labor, the MoU is designed to enhance joint cooperation in managing labor movement and ensuring organized, lawful employment practices. He also underscored the deep-rooted ties between Chad and Libya in labor cooperation, stating that this MoU strengthens an already solid foundation for mutual support and coordination. These developments reflect both nations’ efforts to streamline cross-border labor movement and trade, which could foster economic growth and employment opportunities in both countries.
