In Forbes' list of the world's most valuable sports empires for 2023, Liberty topped the rankings after a successful year for Formula 1 in 2022. The enterprise value of F1 is given as $17.1 billion, with its continued growth in the United States marked by record viewing numbers across the ESPN networks and a new television deal reportedly worth 15 times the previous amount. Liberty's other primary asset is the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team, worth $2.1 billion. The second-placed sports empire on the list is Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, valued at $12.75 billion, with Jerry Jones in third at $11.32 billion.
