Liberian Police Arrest Man, 27 With Fake LD$500s & Police Clearance


Suspect Musa Fakolee says the money printed was around 15,000(around US$120 at today’s 175 official Central Bank rate), printed in LD$500 notes. Monrovia – Musa Fakolee, a graphics designer has been arrested by the Liberia National Police for allegedly duplicating more than LD$15,000 and a police clearance. The suspect said the money was around 15,000, only L$500 notes were printed. Moses took some of the printed notes and left L$8,500 with Musa. Only one police clearance was issued to a man who is yet to be identified.
