At Saturday’s unveiling, Gongloe explained that it was a tough decision to arrive at his choice of a running mate, one which required wild consultations with various stakeholders. Prior to being named as running mate to Cllr. Gongloe, Dr. Urey had announced his intentions to contest as representative of District Four in October. The LPP supporters kick started their rally from the party’s Bong County headquarters in a mammoth crowd wearing customized LPP t-shirts.
