The students have vowed to mobilize more than 50,000 students and youth for June 7 Protest. Monrovia – The Student Unification Party at Liberia’s premiere institution of learning, the University of Liberia has given its blessing to the upcoming protest against the George Weah-led government. “The Vanguard Party will vehemently oppose any devilish plan or design to financially overburden economically-challenged students and underpaid lecturers. President Weah MUST pay for what he promised or risks bearing the consequences thereof.” Student Unification Party(SUP)Said SUP: “Our nation is fast falling into the abyss of gloom and doom. President Weah MUST pay for what he promised or risks bearing the consequences thereof.”The organization said it will stand against any form of increment from L$1,605 to L$5,000 flat rate.
