Bong County – Police in Bong County has charged and sent to court a 39-year-old man for allegedly murdering his girlfriend. Defendant Tetoe Sumo is accused of wasting acid on Gormah Womah on April 28, 2018 at about 11am in the Gboenwear Town, Yelequelleh District. Following the acid attack on Gormah, she was rushed at the Phebe Hospital but subsequently died while receiving treatment. Sumo told police investigators that he committed the act out of frustration, claiming that the victim (Gormah) had earlier threatened to leave him for another man. Report by Fatu Bolay, Bong County
