Liberia: Executive Order Puts MICAT Back in Driver’s Seat of Weah-Led Government’s Message Dissemination

Too many messengers disseminating government’s message have made Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe and the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism job a bit challenging. The Memorandum further indicates that there would be grave consequences for any member of the Executive Branch of Government found in violation of the directive. Since its creation, MICAT has been the statutory body responsibility for developing and disseminating information at home and abroad about the government.
