Monrovia – The Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) has accused President George Weah of “masterminding” the ongoing impeachment proceedings against Associate Justice Kabineh Ja’neh, which they say intends to raid the Supreme Court of its independence. Koinyeneh, [email protected]The political movement has, at the same time, announced that it will lead “Operation save the Judiciary” by rallying citizens and organizations to stage a protest in line with the Constitution of Liberia. The EFFL described the impeachment trial as “an affront to Democracy and a direct attack on good governance”. Added the EFF: “The EFF is unapologetic to evidently and reliably unearth that the President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. The EFF also accused the Presidnet and the ruling party of several mischiefs prompting Associate Ja’neh’s impeachment.
