The Liberia Cancer Society (LCS) has held the 2019 edition of its annual Bike Ride and Walk Against Cancer in Monrovia. The event, held on Sunday, February 24, was marked by sales of T-shirts, long distance walk and bike ride with dozens of walkers, joggers and riders, including international of participants taking part in the event. Dana Hilton Van Ee, president of the LCS expressed gratitude to the participants and was excited with the number of international participants in this year’s event. The international participants came from countries including Philippines, Russia, Kenya, Nigeria, England, Germany, Pakistan, India, America and Scotland. Madam Van Ee said the LCS remains committed to providing awareness on all forms of cancer in order to promote a healthy lifestyle.
