The 51st Ordinary Summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) which was held in Monrovia early this month (June 2017) and brought together 14 West African leaders and their delegations were musically thrilled by the melodious voice of Liberia’s Culture Ambassador, Madam Juli Endee. The quietude of the Farmington Conference Hall where ECOWAS leaders were seated to deliberate on issues affected the wellbeing of their respective peoples and countries became unique as the leader of the Crusaders for Peace, Madam Endee took the podium musically to entertain the guests of the host country, Liberia with songs depicting unity currently existing among ECOWAS states. ToShe expressed thanks and appreciation to the three West African Countries; Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone that fought very hard to eradicate the deadly Ebola virus disease which took away thousands of lives. Madam Endee further praised President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia and ECOWAS outgoing Chairperson for her role in preserving peace and tranquility amongst leaders of ECOWAS countries, and noted that the continent of Africa must reign and shine. The Liberian Culture Ambassador’s song and her dramatic performance in the hall received thunderous applauds from conferees including leaders of ECOWAS at the end.
