Liberals choose delegates this weekend for leadership convention


It is a make-or-break weekend for Ontario Liberal leadership hopefuls. Only those elected delegates and around 400 “ex officios” — sitting and past Liberal MPPs, current Liberal MPs from Ontario and party brass — will be able to cast ballots at next month’s Mississauga convention. His campaign enlisted 14,173 of the 37,831 Liberal members eligible to vote for delegates this weekend.
