OTTAWA — The federal government is launching a task force to study the legalization and regulation marijuana use. The task force is made up of experts in public health, substance abuse, law enforcement and justice. Ottawa has committed to introducing legislation on the legalization of pot in the spring of 2017. The government will also hold a online public consultation that will be open until the end of August. The group plans to meet with provincial, territorial and municipal governments over the coming weeks and months.
