Liang Xinjun, tha billionaire co-founder of China investment firm Fosun International, has stepped down as CEO, the company said on Tuesday evening. Liang is leaving “due to health reasons,” Fosun said in a statement. Liang, who fortune is worth $2.2 billion according to the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List, has been replaced as CEO by Wang Qunbin, 47, another billionaire co-founder. Another long-time board member, Ding Guoqi, has left Fosun to give “more time to family commitments,” the company also announced. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1991.
