Liam Dooley: Shrewsbury Town CEO reports fall in losses to £1.55m

Shrewsbury Town chief executive Liam Dooley has said the League Two club has cut their financial losses by more than half. In his latest quarterly open letter, external to supporters, Dooley said the side was continuing to recover financially after posting losses of £1.55m. "This progress reflects disciplined financial management and long-term planning." Shrews' chairman Roland Wycherley put the club up for sale in September 2024 but two takeover bids collapsed last year. "Although there is no takeover news at present, the progress on and off the pitch reflects a club determined to move forward together," Dooley said.
