The Northern Ireland striker was dropped to the bench, coming on in the second half, for the 4-1 loss at Fleetwood on Saturday after sustaining a knock in training on Friday. Boss Nigel Clough said after the game: “He got a real bang on his ribs in training and couldn’t complete the session. He has also been travelling all over Europe with Northern Ireland, he played 70 minutes earlier this week. The contest at the Pirelli Stadium will be Wimbledon’s first game since the departure of manager Wally Downes.
