Lewis Hamilton has emulated Formula One icon Michael Schumacher by winning his seventh world championship. Hamilton achieved the record-breaking feat by clinching the Turkish Grand Prix on Sunday, winning by a huge 31 seconds after battling through the field from sixth place. The Brit could hardly control his emotion after crossing the line on Sunday as he soaked up his historic achievement. Little is known of Schumacher's current medical health following a skiing crash on holiday with his family in the French Alps in 2013. It seemed as if Schumacher's record of seven world titles would stand for an eternity when he clinched his last crown in Belgium 16 years ago... but there is no stopping Hamilton right now!
