Lewis Hamilton expressed his appreciation for the way Mercedes performed at the Spanish Grand Prix. He described his car as the best he has driven in the past 18 months and claimed it could potentially challenge Red Bull. In his tribute to his team, Hamilton hinted that discussions about renewing his contract with Mercedes might conclude soon. Although the gap between Mercedes and Red Bull remains sizable, Mercedes managed to surpass Ferrari and Aston Martin, indicating a resurgence. He said he’s hopeful that his team can challenge Red Bull by the end of the year.
