Lewis Ferguson is at the heart of an incredible transfer battle with FIVE of the biggest clubs in Italy now locked in a £20m plus fight for his signature. Reports in Italy claimed Champions League big guns Napoli have made a move to beat off Juventus to land the 24-year-old from Bologna this summer. McMurdo has already held discussions with Bologna after club chiefs booted out a number of January bids for the former Hamilton and Aberdeen midfielder. The Turin giants have been chasing Ferguson since the end of last season, when he put pen to paper on a bumper contract extension at Bologna. With six goals and four assists in 27 Serie A games this season, Ferguson has emerged as one of the most influential attacking midfielders in the country this season.
