A level-2 fire broke out at the Mumbai Sessions Court complex early morning in what was the five recent instance of a blaze in the Maximum City. Eight tenders of the Mumbai Fire Brigade were rushed to the court complex in south Mumbai's fort area. The fire was successfully brought under control by 8.30 am and no causalities were reported. The sessions court fire came a day after a blaze at the Cinevista Studio in the city's Kanjurmarg. A week before before the Kamala Mills blaze, twelve people were killed when a massive fire broke out at a snack shop in Saki Naka-Kurla area on December 18.
