In the end, Augusta National made an easy decision. After months of speculation about how the host club of the first men’s major golf championship on the calendar would handle LIV Golf members, the Georgia green jackets essentially have done nothing at all. That means 16 LIV Golf members will be driving down Magnolia Lane come April. LIV Golf has had no success in qualifying its tournaments for world ranking points. As for Norman, at least Augusta National can rest easy in the knowledge that he won’t be around come April.
