Newspaper columnists have been writing evocatively in recent months of our new-found affinity with nature, of how we’ve attuned ourselves to a world we either took for granted pre-pandemic or didn’t notice at all. But will we retain this appreciation of nature once the war against the dreaded virus has been won?
