The proposition of Dublin City Council demolishing its Wood Quay HQ contradicts our Dublin City Development Plan 2022- 2028. Then lease out the Camden Yard offices, ideally to other organisations in need of temporary premises while they retrofit their own. No free ride with free travelSir, – Bobby Carty (Letters, April 3rd) proposes a solution to rising fuel costs by business people travelling to meetings while piggybacking on the Free Travel Scheme. Secondly, such “free” travel’ is not without cost as the travel operator is reimbursed for such journeys from State funds. Now this is a puzzle because all the famous Clarks have no e – Jim Clark, Petula Clark, the Dave Clark Five, Clark Gable and even Clark Kent, he of transformative action.
