Darvin Ham, a longtime assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks, will step into the spotlight as the next Lakers coach. The hiring of new coach Darvin Ham is certainly a decent and respectable first step. I can't believe I just typed that the Lakers hired Darvin Ham as head coach. Pat Riley had never been an NBA head coach either, when the Lakers hired him, and that worked out pretty well.
