Unlucky IslamRe: Not My Islam, letter to the editor, June 30. Britain and Canada can have a fruitful partnership by making laws that will forge closer ties. However, it only has to look across the Atlantic Ocean to find Canada, its faithful ally and fellow member of the Commonwealth, to fill the void. Canada is as vast as Europe, and British artists and travelers can find inspiration from the varied landscapes. I understand the concern of the British people over the untrammeled access by other Europeans to their national frontier.
