What qualifies a school board to know more about our children’s needs than what we, the parents, know? And by whose authority are parents not permitted to question the decisions of such august bodies? However if your child is experiencing identity/gender issues, that’s the school’s and child’s business and not the parents’. Parents turn their children over to strangers in a school setting, trusting that they will look after them. Schools and their teachers seem to have forgotten what their role is, beginning with that they aren’t the parent.
