General News of Saturday, 6 April 2019Source: peacefmonline.comLet the figures translate into food - Pratt to Bawumiaplay videoKwesi Pratt JnrManaging Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has sided with economist Andrews Kwame Pianim in his assertion that it is meaningless to just bandy about economic figures if it does not translate into something tangible for Ghanaians. To him, addressing the fundamentals of the economy is what should grab the attention of all. Let's stop talking and focus on addressing the fundamentals....It doesn't matter which party is in power; we should stop political point scoring," he stated. Dr. Bawumia speaking at the meeting stated how the ruling government has been able to put the economy back on track after the NDC left it in tatters. Adding his voice to this on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Kwesi Pratt said the figures churned out by the government will not be meaningful if it has no effect on people’s livelihood.
