A recent Quinnipiac poll asked likely voters the following question: “Do you think that Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate for president, should be included in the presidential debates this year, or not?" A national poll is therefore essentially worthless. You’d think the Commission on Presidential Debates would pay attention. A national poll is therefore essentially worthless when it comes to predicting the winner in November. That fact alone ought to convince the CPD to let Johnson debate.
