Let’s use solemnity of Easter to heal wounds arising from Nigeria’s last elections — Gov Umahi

Chairman South-East Governors’ Forum and Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has urged Christians to use the solemnity of the Easter, to heal all wounds arising from the last elections in the country. Governor Umahi gave the charge to all Christians all over the world in his Easter message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Uzor. Uzor, who said this year’s Easter is apt for Christians and Nigerians to use the opportunity to heal the country, says, making peace with one another remains the only panacea to development. “I also acknowledge that the country has been greatly wounded by various divisive political tendencies but I insist that this year’s Easter should be the season to address all these challenges that face us. So as a people we should learn to forgive one another in the spirit of Easter.”
