"If we spend $500 per week paying to dump textiles – and earlier this year some charity shops in Nelson were – this is money we can't use for charity purposes. Let's not turn our unwanted purchases into a problem for local charity shops. This will help reduce the impact of fast fashion, with less textile waste and lower environmental costs.
