However, disgruntled members claimed that the postponement of the elections was wrong and in a bad taste. Just days after a new schedule for the second polls under the new club constitution were revealed, a section of AFC Leopards members have strongly opposed the abrupt postponement of club’s official elections date from July 3rd to July 23. Ekhalie who convened the meeting, said the current club office bearers on an interim basis are trying to fight each other and asked members to reclaim their club. The club’s Electoral Board had set July 30th as the last possible official date for the elections that were to be conducted at a venue yet to be communicated. Former club treasurer, Dan Angode urged members to seek for reconciliations and vote as a united team and elect people with vision to scale the team to greater heights.
