WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares will run it back on Saturday night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Santa Cruz-Mares II will be preceded by a junior middleweight clash between WBC champion Jermell Charlo and Austin Trout. Its main card begins at the same time as the Showtime broadcast. Expect Mares and Santa Cruz to be in the ring toward the middle of the UFC main card. Because of that and the solid followings of both Santa Cruz and Mares, the show could do favorable numbers.
