Glasgow Warriors 38 Leinster 17Leo Cullen’s Leinster came unstuck in a top four clash on Saturday night as the reigning BKT United Rugby Championship holders fell to a comprehensive 38-17 loss to Glasgow Warriors in Scotstoun. From there it was all Glasgow, with Leinster losing both Brian Deeny and Rónan Kelleher to the bin and the home side made them pay. George Horne made it three tries in eight minutes as centres Stafford McDowall and Johnny Ventisei carved open Leinster from deep inside their own half. Speaking after the game, head coach Leo Cullen heaped praise on Glasgow, but felt his side were left to rue the costly period down to 13 men. “We just weren't clinical enough and if we get a score at that stage (after half time), you get the game back to one score game”, Cullen told Premier Sports.
